%%EvType

This macro generates code that returns a specification of the value of a property of the most recent event.

The property for which the value is returned by this macro is "type" of the event, which is equal to ^$Event("TYPE").

Possible types are: "CHANGE", "CHAR", "CLICK", "CLOSE", "DBLCLICK", "DESELECT", "FKEYDOWN", "FKEYUP", "FOCUS", "GOBOTTOM", "GODOWN", "GODOWNBIG", "GOTOP", "GOUP", "GOUPBIG", "HELP", "KEYDOWN", "KEYUP", "LINKACTION", "LINKCLOSE", "LINKEXECUTE", "LINKNOTIFY", "LINKOPEN", "LINKPOKE", "LINKREQUEST", "LINKUPDATE", "MAX", "MIN", "MOVE", "PDOWN", "PDRAG", "PMOVE", "PUP", "RESIZE", "RESTORE", "SELECT", "TIMER" and "UNFOCUS".

Examples

If %%EvType="DESELECT"
could be used in the action logic for the high level event Choose to find out whether the low level event was a select or a deselect.
