When the 'lock' button is clicked, the subsequently selected component type will remain selected.
For example, when the 'lock' button is clicked,
followed by a click on the button for the Radio Button component,
the MSM-Workstation will allow adding multiple Radio Buttons
without having to keep clicking the button for the Radio Button
component.
The same effect is achieved by double clicking the appropriate button.
