Introduced in the 1995 ANSI M[UMPS] Windowing Application Programmer's Interface standard.
This special variable identifies the principal display of a M[UMPS] process.
Structured system variable ^$DISPLAY contains the directory of all displays that are available to a process. See ^$DISPLAY for examples of the usage of special variable $PDISPLAY.
