Approved for inclusion in a future ANSI M[UMPS] language standard as part of the library for miscellaneous character functions.
This function returns a modified version of the string that is passed as its parameter. In the modified version, all characters will be "lower case", as defined for the character set in which the input string is encoded.
The actual entry point that is called for this function can be obtained through ^$CHARACTER(charset,"LOWER")=entrypointname.
