M[UMPS] Commands

KV[ALUE]

Approved for inclusion in a future ANSI M[UMPS] language standard.

KVALUE ^A(3)
deletes the value of global variable ^ABC(3), without affecting descendants of this variable.

KVALUE (A,B,C)
deletes the value of all unsubscripted local variables, except for the variables A, B and C. All subscripted occurrences of local variables are unaffected.

Examples with naked references:

KVALUE VARIABLE
SET ^ABC(1,2)="reset naked indicator"
; Naked indicator is now ^ABC(1,
KVALUE ^(3,4)

; Naked indicator is now: ^ABC(1,3,
; Actual reference is: ^ABC(1,3,4)
