P. 555. Findlay's Manuscripts, I, 85, gives the first stanza thus (from Mrs. Main, Inchmarlo, Kincardineshire).

The baron o Leys is to London gane,
All in a mornin early;
He's shod his horse wi siller sheen,
An shown them a' his folly.
