The charset JIS90 supports an encoding of Japanese characters. The specification for this was developed by the MUMPS Development Coordinating Committee - Japan and is described in JIS X0201–1990 and JIS X0208–1990. The English translation is partially reproduced in Annex H for information purposes. The reader should refer to JIS X0201–1990 and JIS X0208–1990 for full definition.
