| system | ::= | syntax of $SYstem intrinsic special variable |
^$System provides information about the characteristics of systems. A system represents the domain of concurrent processes for which $Job is unique; the current system is identified by the svn $SYstem. The second level subscripts of ^$System not beginning with the letter "Z" are reserved for future extensions to the standard.
