In the table below, a year-number indicates that a feature is available. The year number identifies the first standard, in which the feature was made available.

Notes:
*: The attributes FKEYDOWN and FKEYUP are only available in the 1995 ANSI M[UMPS] Application Programmer’s Interface standard. In subsequent standards, this attribute has been replaced by a combination of the attributes CHAR and KEYDOWN and KEYUP.
**: The attribute ELEMENT is defined only if the event occurs for an element, and undefined otherwise.
***: This information no longer occurs in a future M[UMPS] Application Programmer’s Interface standard. In fact, the occurrence of these items in the 1995 standard was in error.
