Note: The result returned by setpiece is a 4-tuple, where the first element is the global or local variable selected, the second element is the field delimiter to use for piece selection and replacement, and the third and fourth elements are the beginning and ending fields to be replaced.

Note: In the setpiece diagram, the corresponding lower-case letter is considered equivalent to the upper-case letter shown for the setpiece name.
